>Hurts a fair bit. Feels like just a shallow scratch, though. It's bleeding, but not very much.
The shock of the spear seems to have been worse than its bite.
Still... if you were just a little taller, you'd probably be dead.

>Now, venture into the spooky dark room on the right side of the corridor.
>You decide not to worry about something little more than a paper-cut and actually progress.
You rise and head for one of the torches.
Link
You attempt to take a torch from the wall... it's stuck in there pretty good, but it relents and comes loose.
ACQUIRED: TORCH
You proceed into the room to the right.

It's definitely a skeleton, of which you remember you have an almost crippling fear of.
You stab the dead skeleton to make sure the skeleton is dead.
Link
However, you power through your fear and try to search it as much as you care to. He's dead, surely he can't hurt you.
Save for some tattered, dusty robes and an old pair of boots that definitely don't fit you, the skeleton is carrying nothing.
But there is something at its feet that catches your eye, shiny and metallic. You leave your sword in the skeleton to pick it up.
Link
It looks just like the METAL PIECE you found earlier, but circular and with no hole.
You put it with the other one.
ACQUIRED: METAL PIECE B
>Check out what that square thing is by the door
>If it's a hole, look through it
>It is indeed a square hole in the wall. You peer inside.
Link
There's a sort of looped pull-lever inside. Unfortunately, the hole is too small to fit your hand.
You can almost get your finger through the loop on the lever, but to no avail.

>You combine the metal pieces. They lock together with an tiny, audible click.

You're still not sure what this is. You get a hunch that it could be a key, but it doesn't look like any key you've ever seen.
If it is, there may be another piece to it.
ACQUIRED: COMBINED METAL PIECES
>Try to use the sword's hilt to pull the level
>Failing that, try to use a part of Mr. Skeleton to do it
>Maybe the hand?
>Not wanting to touch the skeleton any more than you must, you decide to use the sword to pull on the lever.
You put the torch on the floor and ease your new ...friend of his burden.
The blade is too wide on the end to fit. So, with the hilt and taking care to hold the blade in such a way that won't cut your hands, you stick the pommel in.
Link
The sharply curved pommel of the scimitar easily hooks into the loop. You pull...
and it comes!
Link
The door to the left slides up, as you expected.
You look inside to see the fruits of your labor...
Link
It's no room at all, you think this tiny alcove may be some kind of altar.
In the middle is a pedestal upon which sits a small pouch. Looks like you've found something promising!

>The candle stick in the previous room may work to replace the pouch.
>Careful not to trigger another trap, you pick up the unlit candlestick from off the floor and move back over to the pouch.
Link
As you grip the pouch in preparation for the swap, you suddenly catch a whiff of a strange, sulfuric smell.
You wait for a moment to see if that was anything... and its suddenly gone? After waiting another moment, nothing appears to happen.
You shake your head dismissively and prepare yourself again for the swap.
Link
You quickly exchange the pouch for the candlestick, slamming it down as quickly and as hard as you can!
Link
You suddenly realize the candlestick may not have been necessary, as the pouch weighs almost nothing.
Link
...and that there was nothing under it! No pressure plates are anything, just a carved groove around the edge.

ACQUIRED: UNKNOWN POUCH
>AHHHHHHH
>OH GODS
>You notice a shuffling, shambling noise behind you.
...but all too late. A inhumanly slender hand now rests on your shoulder.
Link
It tugs gently, turning you around.
Link
You find yourself staring a now non-dead skeleton in the face.
It says something to you in a crackling, gravelly voice in a language that sounds like one you know but... off.
"Va kam, düçüd ber qorom mararder?"
Too off for you to understand what it meant.
Link
It looks at the pouch in your left hand, then back at you.
"Oh? Birodo beze kuaekod eçem, dağer ke?
Bam u zokom, roaeosso biroaeı sard ezem qarakak durdiaeurik."
It places its hands on your shoulders and cackles lightly.
You are horribly confused.
