I know for fact that it's one of the Wrong Turn movies. There is six of them, but I've only seen the fourth movie. It's about a small pack of cannibals hunting down teenagers and shit. The antagonists are similar to the ones in the The Hills Have Eyes which is also a pretty good horror movie.

Re: Horror Movies
Oohhh I've seen a few minutes from a few of those movies. I agree on the endings, at this moment right now I literally cannot think of a horror movie I've seen where the ending didn't fall flat or y'know.. actually made sense and wasn't super predictable. I agree with you creepytubbies, it's cool when they can leave it open but not so much where you're left feeling kinda like, well that was a waste. I haven't seen it in awhile, but if I recall correctly The Thing was pretty cool on that.

Re: Horror Movies
The Evil Dead reboot had the best after credits scene... with Bruce Campbell just looking in the screen and saying "Groovy".
Re: Horror Movies
oh dear that sounds hilarious actually. I'm tired and I've had quite a bit of coke today and reading that for whatever reason made me genuinely snort out loud. I have yet to watch the evil dead movies, dammit. there's so many movies I want to watch I forget about most of them when I go to actually watch something, pff. the original evil dead movie doesn't happen to be on netflix does it?

Re: Horror Movies
Mmm... Indeed. I still don't think the Evil Dead Reboot was a bad movie like a lot of other people did. I for one fucking loved it!
One of my favorite things about that movie was how bloodied most of the characters got, but they still continued to fight on no matter how horribly wounded they were. I mean some those people just would not die.
Fuckin' nail guns, chainsaws, and shotguns! What's not to like?!

I loved the new Evil Dead. I didn't get to finish watching it. My girlfriend at the time got squicked out by all the blood.

Re: Horror Movies
My favorite part was the rain of blood at the end.
Speaking of horror movie reboots/remakes... I don't know how to feel about the Poltergeist remake. The reason I like the original so much is that it seems really cheesy now because of how far special effects have come, but back when it came out it was super scary.

Re: Horror Movies
I just watched this movie the other day:
Hush (2016) - A woman who is completely deaf deals with a masked attacker in her home.
It was pretty cool. Really well-made and good acting. Nice use of sound with the main character being deaf.

I saw that movie listed on IMDb the other day. Seemed like an interesting concept.
