What tropes/cliches do you hate the most?

I really don't like the harem trope. I mean, they're okay when they're done well, but most of them aren't done well. The trope is an average kinda guy with no real personality becomes the object of attention for several girls (and sometimes like one guy) in the show.

Oh god. I can't take Highschool of the Dead seriously because of all the pointless fucking fanservice. If you want to have a sexy character or a sex scene or something, fine. Random tit jiggling is retarded.

I've seen a good bit of High School of the Dead, and I know what you mean. It felt really weird when the ecchi started pouring in.

Aside from the gag boobs with that one character, the females were obviously fanservice-y but it was never vulgar. The one time pre ecchi that there was blatant and purposeful sexuality, it was played to be disturbing as a girl was almost molested, as I recall.

I agree that I also can't stand the harem trope. Like it seems a lot of new animes (especially slice of life and school animes) are harems now where all the girls are overly sexualized middle schoolers who all look the same except for different hair color/styles and slightly differentiating personalities as they fawn over some basic ass white fuckboy. /rant

Oh my God, Naruto does that constantly. Naruto seems to give off some kind of hypnotic aura of friendship and affability that he changes deep seeded ideological beliefs within his enemies simply by punching them. What the actual fuck?

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Soul Eater's ending with Maka single-handily punching out Cthulhu was pretty annoying. The show seemed to have something about partnerships/teamwork and this bitch strait up wrecks the main villain all by herself with one punch.

I also have a problem with Gainax Endings. Where everything makes sense, or looks like it will make sense after the ending happens, only to then have a confused and nonsensical ending. The game Indigo Prophesy, made by the guys who did Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls was ruined by something like that. Then ending is the most important part of a story. If you ruin it, well....

As a woman with breasts, the unrealistic standards that they are portrayed in almost EVERY SINGLE ANIME gets a bit tiresome.

Especially when compared to the fact that most girls in Eastern Asian culture don't even have breasts that are that big.

On top of that, it's just sexually objectifying a part of a woman's body and using that as their sole personality.

I'm certainly no keyboard warrior or social justice warrior or anything, but for comparison, I would feel really uncomfortable if an anime just featured a ditzy guy walking around with his wang bouncing around and making noise and hitting him in the face and shit.

Actually that kind of sounds hilarious. But still uncomfortable and just weird.
